haha. i just did what you did with the tagboard basically...just clicked and clicked till it looked right.
as far as the link code, i found it in the blogger help section.

as far as a photo in your profile, you have to have the photo uploaded to some place like snapfish or photobucket. then just paste the url of the photo in your profile where it says 'photo'. don't use the brackets or anything around it, just the url by itself.
oh and for the headings for the links, i just copied the html code for one of the other headings, like the archives, so all the headings matched and just changed the text. if that makes sense.
